"Nurturing Young Lives"
Taska

"Taska" stands for "taman asuhan kanak-kanak", which means child care center. Our Taska program provides learning beyond just child care. Little Shepherd Taska children learn basic motor skills such as pouring, carrying and feeding themselves. Children learn how to interact and socialize with one another and the teachers. Taska prepares children for the Tadika program by introducing them to counting and the alphabet. Children in the full day Taska program are provided with healthy, organic meals. They also have a nap time and outdoors play time.

Tadika

"Tadika" stands for "taman didikan kanak-kanak". This implies that Tadika is where the education of children begins. Again, Little Shepherd is different because we give our children the foundation for their education during their Taska days.

Tadika children are taught to read and write along with science and math topics, all with a purposeful, values-based approach to education. Through storytelling, hands on learning and practice, children are shown the wonders of the world and the amazing things they are capable of doing. Children also learn to treat one another with kindness and respect, as we encourage teamwork and building one another up. This prepares them for their future as primary school students and later, upstanding citizens of society.

Children in the full day Tadika program also enjoy healthy, organic meals along with nap time and outdoors play time.
